Spare a thought for Taylor Swift (a sentence I never thought I’d write). Not only is she having to watch her boyfriend’s team fall behind in the Superbowl but it seems the crowd isn’t on her side either.
Not for the first time today, the cameras cut to Taylor and her pals cheering in the box but the vision was met with wide-spread boos from a hostile New Orleans crowd. No stranger to shaking off the haters, Taylor busted out her trademark side-eye-and-smirk combo, which seemed to do the trick. They do say the best defence is a good offence.
Eagles rockin’
The great Patrick Mahomes is looking massively out of sorts. So much so, he just threw a poor pass which resulted in an interception that was returned for a touchdown. If the Chiefs were worried before, they are now approaching DefCon 1. Eagles lead 17-0

Elliott nails field goal, Eagles lead by 10
After a false start penalty pushed them back five yards, Jake Elliott landed a field goal to give his side what is now a handy 10-0 lead. This is the least they deserve on what’s happened so far.
AJ Brown is having a day
The Eagles star wide receiver has had a quieter year due to the move to Saquon Barkley as the star of the offence. But today he is a real focus. And man, is he delivering. Another great catch there. I don’t want to rain on the great start of the Eagles, but for all their dominance thus far they need to have more points on the board.
New Orleans music: Fats Domino
The years have moved on and we are now in the early days on rock’n’roll.
Another great from New Orleans, Fats Domino was born in 1928 and lived to 89. Made an incredible contribution to the early era of the rock and roll genre. Four of his records – Blueberry Hill, Aint That A Shame, Walking to New Orleans and The Fat Man – were added to the Grammy Hall of Fame. Here he is from 1957.
Swift watches on with famous friends
In case you missed it, Taylor Swift is in the building.
She’s wearing her ‘T’ necklace for tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce, and as usual has a clan of famous friends around her – they include Este Haim, Alana Haim, Ice Spice and Ashley Avignone.

Interception – Poor throw from Hurts
That was a bit of “throw and hope” from Jalen Hurts. The result was a bad one for his side. Instead of pushing on for either a touchdown or a field goal, Mahomes now has another chance to get some momentum.
