Man arrested on suspicion of murder after Eston death

A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, following a fatal stabbing last week.

The victim, John Donaldson, 34, was attacked outside a house in the Lealholm Walk area of Eston, near Middlesbrough at about 21:00 GMT on Thursday 21 November.

He was taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, but died a short time later.

The family of Mr Donaldson paid tribute to him, calling him “a very much loved son, brother, uncle, grandson and nephew”.
