Brother and sister Jason and Alysha Collett will be in action at Tuesday’s Kembla Grange meeting with a number of top rides awaiting the jockeys.

Fresh from winning the two Golden Slipper lead-ups at Randwick on Saturday, with Rivellino scoring in the Skyline Stakes and Written The Law tasting success in the Sweet Embrace Stakes, Jason will have three solid chances at Kembla Grange.

He will start the day on the David Pfieffer-prepared Call Me Son in the Kembla Classic Twilight Races March 14th Midway Maiden Handicap (1500m), then he partners Lira for Ciaron Maher in The Warra Club Partnership 2025 Super Maiden Plate (1200m).

He rounds out the day on Our Little Star for Pfieffer in the Golden Hammer Tradies Foot Race March
14th Class 1 Handicap (1200m).

“I’ve been on Call Me Son in all his trials, and then he had his first start at Hawkesbury last month and finished midfield,” Jason said.

“The winner [Island Dream] has gone on to win a midweek city race and Call Me Son ran well enough in it to suggest he’ll take benefit from the run. He should run well on Tuesday.”

Lira made her debut at Hawkesbury on the same day that Call Me Son ran and Collett had also been aboard in her trials before running third on her in race conditions.

“She led them up, and it was an encouraging effort,” Jason said. “She’s drawn well at Kembla, and I think she should run well.”

Our Little Star won at Hawkesbury on the same day Call Me Son and Lira ran, and Collett thinks she
will run well again despite the wide alley.
