Australian great Lleyton Hewitt admits he is struggling to keep watch on all the men at the Australian Open.

James McCabe and James Duckworth won on Monday to be the latest Australians into the second round.

“It is hard to get around to them all,” Lleyton Hewitt told Nine’s coverage during Jordan Thompson’s match.

“There are so many Aussies, which is fantastic. It is great for us. The way that the men’s tennis is going in Australia, it is so strong, obviously, led by Alex de Minaur as well. He gets a crack tomorrow night.

“It is a weight of numbers at the moment. Each of these guys are pushing each other. Some guys have had tougher draws than others is going in and paying seeded players. All in all, a strong summer by the Australian men.”
